American Hailey Baptiste moved into the second round of the Auckland Open by defeating Slovak wildcard Renata Jamrichova 6-0, 6-2 at the ASB Tennis Arena on Tuesday.
Baptiste, ranked No 92, will play the winner of the match between New Zealander wildcard Vivian Yang and Jodie Burrage next.
