Bari Open: Sramkova beats Cristian to reach the last four
Rebecca Sramkova won against Jaqueline Cristian 6-2, 7-5. She’ll face the winner of the match between Jana Fett and Zeynep Sonmez in the next round

Slovak Rebecca Sramkova won against Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the second seed, 6-2, 7-5 to advance to the last 4 of the Bari Open at Circolo Tennis Bari.
Sramkova, ranked No 153, will play the winner of the match between Croat Jana Fett and Zeynep Sonmez next.
Ahead of her victory, the Slovak defeated Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 6 seed (6-3, 6-1) and Russian Polina Kudermetova (7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-3).
Cristian, ranked No 99, beat Italian qualifier Angelica Moratelli (7-5, 6-4) and Italian Nuria Brancaccio (6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Puglia Open.
