Top seed Barbora Krejcikova won against Linda Fruhvirtova 6-3, 6-2 to move into the last four of the Birmingham Classic at Edgbaston Priory Club on Friday evening.
Krejcikova, ranked No 12, will play Chinese Lin Zhu next.
Barbora Krejcikova defeated Spanish qualifier Cristina Bucsa (6-3, 6-3) and qualifier Tereza Martincova (6-4, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Birmingham tournament, Fruhvirtova, ranked No 57, won against Ukrainian wildcard Elina Svitolina (6-2, 6-0) and American Bernarda Pera, the No 6 seed (6-1, 7-6 (3)).
