Bogota Open: Kawa upsets top seed Bouzkova to reach semi-finals
The Pole will play the winner of the match between American qualifier Julieta Pareja and Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean in the next round

Polish qualifier Katarzyna Kawa moved into the last four of the Bogota Open by edging out top seed Marie Bouzkova 5-7, 6-1, 7-5 at the Country Club Bogota on Friday.
Kawa, ranked No 223, will face the winner of the match between American qualifier Julieta Pareja and Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean next.
The Pole won against Colombian wildcard Valentina Mediorreal Arias (6-1, 6-1) and Brazilian Laura Pigossi (1-6, 7-6 (5), 6-3) earlier in the week.
In the previous rounds of the tournament, Bouzkova, ranked No 51, beat Serb qualifier Aleksandra Krunic (6-0, 3-6, 6-3) and Cypriot qualifier Raluka Serban (6-1, 6-3).
