Bogota Open: Maria makes quarter-finals, faces Osorio next
The German defeated Hanna Chang 6-0, 7-6 on Thursday

German Tatjana Maria, the No 6 seed, reached the last eight of the Bogota Open by defeating American Hanna Chang 6-0, 7-6 at the Country Club Bogota on Thursday.
Maria, ranked No 82, will face Colombian Camila Osorio, the second seed, next.
The 37-year-old German edged out Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet (6-7 (5), 7-5, 6-4) ahead of her win today.
In the previous round of the tournament, Chang, ranked No 194, won against Varvara Lepchenko (4-6, 6-1, 6-2).
