Top seed Marie Bouzkova won against American Hailey Baptiste 6-3, 6-4 to move into the quarter-finals of the Bogota Open at the Country Club Bogota on Thursday.
Bouzkova, ranked No 42, will play the winner of the match between Francesca Jones and German Laura Siegemund, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Bogota tournament, Marie Bouzkova beat Canadian Rebecca Marino (6-0, 6-3).
Baptiste, ranked No 96, defeated Slovenian Tamara Zidansek (6-2, 4-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Bogota tournament.
