Canadian Open: Cirstea moves into second round
The Romanian will face the winner of the match between Russian Anastasia Potapova and No 14 seed Karolina Muchova in the next round
Romanian Sorana Cirstea advanced to the second round of the Canadian Open by winning against Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva 6-4, 7-6 (3) at Stade IGA in Montreal on Monday.
Cirstea, ranked No 31, will face the winner of the match between Russian Anastasia Potapova and No 14 seed Karolina Muchova next.
