Argentinian Solana Sierra, the No 7 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Cancun Tennis Open by winning against Romanian Patricia Maria Tig 6-0, 6-3 on Monday.
Sierra, ranked No 155, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian lucky loser Julia Riera and Dutchwoman Anouk Koevermans next.
