Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich moved into the last 16 of the Catalonia Open by edging out Colombian Emiliana Arango 6-7 (4), 6-3, 7-6 (5) on Monday.
Sasnovich, ranked No 110, will play the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the top seed, and Spanish qualifier Lucia Cortez Llorca next.
