Catalonia Open: Yastremska upsets top seed Teichmann to reach semi-finals
She will face American qualifier Elizabeth Mandlik in the next round

Ukraine’s Dayana Yastremska moved into the semi-finals of the Catalonia Open with an upset win over top seed Jil Teichmann, of Switzerland, 7-5, 7-6 (1) on Friday.
Yastremska, ranked No 149 in the world, will play American qualifier Elizabeth Mandlik next.
The 22-year-old Ukrainian defeated Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo (7-6 (5), 6-3) and Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 5 seed (6-4, 7-5) ahead of her victory today.
In the previous rounds, Teichmann, ranked No 30, beat Ylena In-Albon (6-1, 6-3) and Colombian qualifier Emiliana Arango (6-3, 6-4).
