Charleston Open: Keys books spot in last 16

No 9 seed Madison Keys beat qualifier Hailey Baptiste 6-1, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Charleston Open at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Wednesday evening.
Keys, ranked No 22, will play the winner of the match between Pole Magda Linette, the No 8 seed, and Russian Varvara Gracheva next.
Ahead of her victory, Madison Keys won against wildcard Emma Navarro (6-4, 6-3).
Baptiste, ranked No 275, defeated Chinese Xiyu Wang (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Charleston tournament.
