Karolina Pliskova advanced to the final of the Cluj-Napoca Open by beating qualifier Harriet Dart 6-3, 6-3 at the BTarena on Saturday evening.
Pliskova, ranked No 78, will face No 8 seed Ana Bogdan next.
Karolina Pliskova won against Austrian qualifier Sinja Kraus (6-4, 7-6 (6)), Colombian Camila Osorio (6-2, 6-1) and Italian Sara Errani (6-2, 6-0) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds of the Cluj-Napoca tournament, Dart, ranked No 103, defeated Hungarian lucky loser Anna Bondar (6-4, 7-6), Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the No 5 seed (5-7, 7-5, 6-3) and Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz (6-3, 6-2).
