Cluj-Napoca Open: Top seed Potapova strolls into last 4

Russian Anastasia Potapova, the top seed, won against German qualifier Ella Seidel 6-2, 6-3 to move into the last four of the Cluj-Napoca Open at the BT Arena on Friday evening.
Potapova, ranked No 32, will face Belarusian lucky loser Aliaksandra Sasnovich next.
In the previous rounds of the Cluj-Napoca tournament, the Russian beat Austrian Julia Grabher (6-4, 6-0) and Swiss Viktorija Golubic (6-4, 7-5).
Seidel, ranked No 143, defeated Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the No 8 seed (6-4, 6-2) and Russian Anna Blinkova (6-2, 7-6 (5)) earlier in the tournament.
