Ukrainian Yulia Starodubtsewa beat Argentinian wildcard Guillermina Naya 6-2, 6-0 to reach the last eight of the Colina Open at the Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica.
Yulia Starodubtsewa will face the winner of the match between Brazilian Laura Pigossi and American Elizabeth Mandlik, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Chilean tournament, the Ukrainian won against Italian Sara Errani, the No 4 seed (6-1, 7-6 (1)).
Naya, ranked No 402, won against Barundi qualifier Sada Nahimana (6-2, 6-1) in the first round of the Chilean tournament.
