Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, won against Israeli Lina Glushko 6-1, 7-6 (1) to reach the last 16 of the Crèdit Andorrà Open on Tuesday evening.
Bucsa, ranked No 108, will play the winner of the match between Turk Pemra Ozgen and Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl next.
