Dow Tennis Classic : Friedsam into the semi-finals
Anna-Lena Friedsam won against Camila Osorio 6-3, 6-3 on Friday evening and will face American Ann Li in the next round
German Anna-Lena Friedsam beat Colombian Camila Osorio, the No 5 seed, 6-3, 6-3 to reach the semi-finals of the Dow Tennis Classic at Greater Midland Tennis Center on Friday evening.
Friedsam, ranked No 184, will play American Ann Li next.
The German won against American lucky loser Sophie Chang (6-4, 7-6 (7)) and American Sachia Vickery (6-2, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
Osorio, ranked No 83, defeated Canadian wildcard Eugenie Bouchard (1-6, 6-2, 6-2) and American Elizabeth Mandlik (6-1, 7-5).
