No 3 seed Alycia Parks beat wildcard Lauren Davis 6-3, 6-3 to advance to the final of the Dow Tennis Classic on Saturday evening.
Parks, ranked No 120, will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, the No 8 seed, and Canadian Rebecca Marino, the No 6 seed, next.
In the previous rounds, Alycia Parks won against Israeli Lina Glushko (4-6, 6-2, 6-4), wildcard Catherine McNally (6-1, 4-6, 6-4) and Australian Astra Sharma (6-3, 6-1).
Davis, ranked No 387, won against Russian Alina Charaeva (7-6 (3), 6-3), qualifier Whitney Osuigwe (6-0, 6-1) and Varvara Lepchenko (7-6 (8), 3-6, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
