Dubai Duty Free Championships: Azarenka edged out Anisimova

Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 15 seed, edged out American Amanda Anisimova 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5) to advance to the last 16 of the Dubai Duty Free Championships at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Azarenka, ranked No 14, will face American Madison Keys next.
In the previous round of the Dubai Open, the 33-year-old Belarusian won against Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (6-3, 7-5).
Anisimova, ranked No 35, beat Russian wildcard Vera Zvonareva (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the Dubai Open.
