Dubai Open: Noskova reaches last 16

Linda Noskova won against Russian Diana Shnaider, the No 11 seed, 7-6 (8), 4-6, 6-3 to advance to the last 16 of the Dubai Open at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Tuesday.
Noskova, ranked No 35, will face the winner of the match between Russian Liudmila Samsonova and American Jessica Pegula, the No 5 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, Linda Noskova beat Kazakh Yulia Putintseva (6-2, 7-6 (5)).
Shnaider, ranked No 13, won against Pole Magdalena Frech (6-2, 6-2) in the previous round of the Dubai tournament.
