Eastbourne Open: Gracheva through to semi-finals after Krejcikova withdrawal
Varvara Gracheva benefited from the forfeit of Barbora Krejcikova on Thursday and will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska and Filipino qualifier Alexandra Eala in the next round

French qualifier Varvara Gracheva moved into the semi-finals of the Eastbourne Open after second seed Barbora Krejcikova withdrew before the match on Thursday due to a thigh issue.
Gracheva, ranked No 111, will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska and Filipino qualifier Alexandra Eala next.
In the previous rounds of the Eastbourne tournament, the Frenchwoman edged out Colombian Camila Osorio (6-4, 4-6, 7-5) and won against Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 8 seed (7-5, 6-3).
Krejcikova, ranked No 17, edged out wildcard Harriet Dart (6-3, 6-7 (4), 7-5) and wildcard Jodie Burrage (6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (3)) earlier in the tournament.
