Florianopolis Open: Jeanjean advances to second round as Marcinko retires
The Frenchwoman will play the winner of the match between Italian Sara Errani, the No 4 seed, and Sara Bejlek in the next round

Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean moved into the second round of the Florianopolis Open when Croat Petra Marcinko retired on Tuesday.
Jeanjean, ranked No 129, led 0-2 when Marcinko, ranked No 172, pulled out on Tuesday.
The Frenchwoman will face the winner of the match between Italian Sara Errani, the No 4 seed, and Sara Bejlek next.
