Australian qualifier Olivia Gadecki beat American Sloane Stephens 6-4, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Guadalajara Open at the Panamerican Tennis Center on Monday night.
Gadecki, ranked No 152, will face second seed Danielle Collins next.
