Guangzhou Open: Bouzas Maneiro reaches quarter-finals
The seventh seed will face the winner of the match between American qualifier Caroline Dolehide and second seed Marie Bouzkova in the next round

Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, the No 7 seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Guangzhou Open by winning against Chinese wildcard Han Shi 6-3, 6-4 at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 60, will face the winner of the match between American qualifier Caroline Dolehide and second seed Marie Bouzkova next in what will be her first quarter-final on the main WTA Tour.
The 22-year-old Spaniard beat Croat qualifier Jana Fett (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Guangzhou tournament.
Earlier in the week, Shi, ranked No 254, defeated French qualifier Jessika Ponchet (6-1, 6-7 (4), 6-3).
