Chinese Lin Zhu, the No 4 seed, won against Su Jeong Jang 6-3, 6-4 to move into the last 16 of the Hana Bank Korea Open on Monday night.
Zhu, ranked No 70, will play the winner of the match between Australian Maddison Inglis and Indian qualifier Ankita Raina next.
