Hong Kong: Lamens sets up quarter-final clash against top seed Shnaider
The Dutchwoman ousted eighth seed Cristina Bucsa 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 in the second round on Thursday

Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens reached the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Open by winning against Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on Thursday.
Lamens, ranked No 91, will play Russian Diana Shnaider, the top seed, next.
The Dutchwoman, who recently won her first WTA singles title in Osaka earlier this month, beat Chinese qualifier Xinyu Gao (6-3, 6-0) in the previous round of the tournament. She has now won nine of her last 10 matches on the tour.
In the previous round of the event, Bucsa, ranked No 71, won against wildcard Hong Yi Cody Wong (6-3, 6-3).
