Hong Kong Open: Zakharova advances to second round

Russian Anastasia Zakharova won against lucky loser Su Jeong Jang 7-5, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Hong Kong Open at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on Tuesday.

Zakharova, ranked No 113, will face Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva, the No 7 seed, next.
