Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl reached the last 16 of the Hungarian Open by beating Hungarian wildcard Natalia Szabanin 6-4, 7-5 at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest on Monday evening.
Baindl, ranked No 100, will play the winner of the match between Hungarian wildcard Amarissa Toth and Chinese Shuai Zhang, the second seed, next.
