Indian Wells WTA 1000: Bronzetti books spot in second round

Italian Lucia Bronzetti moved into the second round of the Indian Wells WTA 1000 by beating Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina 6-4, 7-5 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Thursday.

Bronzetti, ranked No 62, will play No 30 seed Magdalena Frech next.
