Dutch qualifier Arianne Hartono won against Japanese wildcard Misaki Doi 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to reach the last 16 of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships on Tuesday.
Hartono, ranked No 191, will play Hungarian Panna Udvardy next.
