Léolia Jeanjean beat fellow Frenchwoman Amandine Monnot 6-4, 6-3 on Tuesday to reach the last 16 of the Grand Est Open 88, the WTA 125 event on the outdoor clay of Contrexéville, France.
The world No 132 will next face the winner of Britain’s fourth seed Francesca Jones and France’s Alice Rame.
