Korea Open: Kasatkina finishes runner-up to Haddad Maia

Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 3 seed, beat Russian Daria Kasatkina, the top seed, 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 to win the Korea Open tournament at the Olympic Park Tennis Center in Seoul on Sunday.
Haddad Maia, ranked No 17, defeated Australian Ajla Tomljanovic (6-3, 6-4), Russian lucky loser Polina Kudermetova (6-2, 6-1) and Russian Veronika Kudermetova (6-4, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Kasatkina, ranked No 13, beat American Hailey Baptiste (6-4, 6-2), Emma Raducanu (6-1 ret.) and No 4 seed Diana Shnaider (6-3, 6-4).
