Ladies Open Lausanne: Burel comes back against Parry to book spot in final

Clara Burel has continued her impressive run at the Ladies Open, advancing to the final by beating No 9 seed Diane Parry 4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.
Heading into the semi-final clash against compatriot Parry, Burel had recorded dominant victories over Serb Olga Danilovic (6-4, 6-4), American Emma Navarro, the No 5 seed (6-3, 6-2) and Romanian Ana Bogdan, the No 3 seed (6-3, 1-0 ret.). No 90 Parry, on the other hand, had had a slightly tougher road, winning against wildcard Fiona Ferro (7-5, 2-6, 6-2), Montenegrin Danka Kovinic (6-4, 7-5) and No 7 seed Alize Cornet (6-3, 6-2).
Burel, ranked No 84, will face Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the second seed, in the Ladies Open final on Sunday.
