Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the second seed, defeated Swiss wildcard Celine Naef 3-6, 7-6 (1), 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Ladies Open Lausanne on Tuesday afternoon.
Cocciaretto, ranked No 42, will play Argentinian Julia Riera next.
