Montenegrin Danka Kovinic won against Swiss lucky loser Jenny Duerst 6-0, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Ladies Open Lausanne on Tuesday.
Kovinic, ranked No 97, will play the winner of the match between No 9 seed Diane Parry and wildcard Fiona Ferro next.
