American Emma Navarro, the No 5 seed, won against Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean 6-0, 6-0 to advance to the last 16 of the Ladies Open Lausanne on Tuesday.
Navarro, ranked No 53, will play the winner of the match between Serb Olga Danilovic and Frenchwoman Clara Burel next.
