L’Open 35 de Saint Malo: Boisson stuns Cornet to reach final
Lois Boisson edged out Alize Cornet 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 on Saturday afternoon and will play Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet for the title

Wildcard Lois Boisson moved into the final of the L’Open 35 de Saint Malo by edging out No 8 seed Alize Cornet 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.
Boisson, ranked No 191, will face Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet next.
Ahead of her victory, Lois Boisson defeated No 4 seed Varvara Gracheva (6-4, 7-5), Argentinian qualifier Solana Sierra (6-1, 6-0) and American Katie Volynets, the No 7 seed (5-7, 6-2, 6-2).
Cornet, ranked No 107, won against qualifier Astrid Lew Yan Foon (6-1, 6-4), Fiona Ferro (6-4, 5-7, 6-3) and Jessika Ponchet (4-6, 6-2, 6-2) in the previous rounds.
