L’Open 35 de Saint Malo: Golubic beats Paquet to move into last eight

Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the No 7 seed, won against Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 to move into the last eight of the L’Open 35 de Saint Malo.

Golubic, ranked No 92, will play American McCartney Kessler, the top seed, next.

The Swiss defeated Frenchwoman Selena Janicijevic (7-6 (3), 7-5) ahead of her victory.

In the previous round, Paquet, ranked No 124, won against Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz (6-0, 6-3).
