Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot reached the last 16 of the L’Open 35 de Saint Malo by edging out Canadian Marina Stakusic 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 on Monday.
Jacquemot, ranked No 143, will face the winner of the match between Australian Olivia Gadecki, the No 6 seed, and Canadian Victoria Mboko next.
