Australian Taylah Preston won against Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic 6-0, 6-2 to reach the last 16 of the L’Open 35 de Saint Malo on Tuesday.
Preston, ranked No 139, will face the winner of the match between No 3 seed Peyton Stearns and Sachia Vickery next.
