Miami Open: Sabalenka continues domination of Qinwen to make semi-finals

Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the top seed, won against Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 9 seed, 6-2, 7-5 to reach the semi-finals of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium on Tuesday night.
Sabalenka, ranked No 1, will play Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 6 seed, next.
In the previous rounds of the Miami tournament, the Belarusian beat Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova (6-3, 6-0), Romanian qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse (6-1, 0-0 ret.) and American Danielle Collins, the No 14 seed (6-4, 6-4).
Zheng, ranked No 9, won against American Lauren Davis (6-1, 7-5), American qualifier Taylor Townsend (6-1, 7-6 (3)) and American Ashlyn Krueger (6-2, 7-6 (3)) earlier in the tournament.
