Colombian Camila Osorio beat Australian Ajla Tomljanovic 6-2, 7-6 (3) to advance to the second round of the Monterrey Open at Sonoma Club on Tuesday night.

Osorio, ranked No 88, will play second seed Emma Navarro next.
