Montevideo Open: Lee makes second round

Romanian qualifier Gabriela Lee advanced to the second round of the Montevideo Open by beating Uruguayan wildcard Lucia De Santa Ana 6-0, 6-1 at the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club on Tuesday evening.

Lee, ranked No 424, will face the winner of the match between American qualifier Haley Giavara and Mexican Renata Zarazua, the second seed, next.
