WTA Abu Dhabi: Bucsa advances to second round
Cristina Bucsa won against Xinyu Wang 5-7, 6-0, 6-3 on Tuesday and will play the winner of the match between qualifier Heather Watson and Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 9 seed, in the next round

Lucky loser Cristina Bucsa, from Spain, moved into the second round of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open by beating Chinese Xinyu Wang 5-7, 6-0, 6-3 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City on Tuesday.
Bucsa, ranked No 74, will play the winner of the match between qualifier Heather Watson and Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 9 seed, next.
