Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open: Top seed Rybakina makes last four

Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the top seed, won against Spanish lucky loser Cristina Bucsa 6-1, 6-4 to reach the last 4 of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City on Friday.
Rybakina, ranked No 5, will play Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 8 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Abu Dhabi tournament, the Kazakh defeated American qualifier Danielle Collins (4-6, 6-3, 6-3).
Bucsa, ranked No 74, won against Chinese Xinyu Wang (5-7, 6-0, 6-3) and qualifier Heather Watson (7-6 (1), 7-5) in the previous rounds of the Abu Dhabi tournament.
