Elina Avanesyan defeated Lisa Zaar 6-1, 6-2 on Monday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between Finn Anastasia Kulikova and Slovak Anna-Karolina Schmiedlova, the second seed, in the next round
Russian Elina Avanesyan reached the second round of the Nordea Open by defeating Swede wildcard Lisa Zaar 6-1, 6-2 at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Monday.
Avanesyan, ranked No 133, will face the winner of the match between Finn Anastasia Kulikova and Slovak Anna-Karolina Schmiedlova, the second seed, next.
