Nottingham Open: New British No 1 Boulter into final, beats qualifier Watson
Katie Boulter beat Heather Watson 6-4, 7-5 on Saturday and will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Alize Cornet and Jodie Burrage for the title

Wildcard Katie Boulter moved into the final of the Nottingham Open by winning against qualifier Heather Watson 6-4, 7-5 at Nottingham Tennis Centre on Saturday.
Boulter, ranked No 126, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Alize Cornet and Jodie Burrage next.
Boulter had been 4-1 down in the second set before coming back to serve it out herself.

Ahead of her victory, Katie Boulter defeated qualifier Emily Appleton (6-1, 6-3), Ukrainian lucky loser Daria Snigur (7-5, 6-3) and qualifier Harriet Dart (6-3, 7-5).
Watson, ranked No 195, won against German Jule Niemeier (6-4, 6-3), German Tatjana Maria (6-4, 6-4) and Swiss Viktorija Golubic (7-6 (2), 7-5) in the previous rounds of the Nottingham tournament.
