Nottingham Open: Golubic knocks out Vekic, moves moves into quarter-finals
Viktorija Golubic won against Donna Vekic 6-4, 6-1 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between German Tatjana Maria and qualifier Heather Watson in the next round

Swiss Viktorija Golubic advanced to the quarter-finals of the Nottingham Open by beating Croat Donna Vekic, the No 4 seed, 6-4, 6-1 at Nottingham Tennis Centre on Wednesday.
Golubic, ranked No 150, will play the winner of the match between German Tatjana Maria and qualifier Heather Watson next.
The Swiss won against Jil Teichmann (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Nottingham tournament.
During the 32 of the Nottingham tournament, Vekic, ranked No 20, defeated Spaniard Cristina Bucsa (6-2, 4-6, 6-1).
