Spaniard Cristina Bucsa beat Russian Vitalia Diatchenko 6-4, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Open Capfinances Rouen Metropole on Tuesday.
Bucsa, ranked No 110, will face No 9 seed Harriet Dart next.
