Dane Clara Tauson moved into the final of the Open de Limoges by winning against Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 6 seed, 6-3, 7-5 at the Palais des Sports de Beaublanc on Friday evening.
Tauson, ranked No 115, will face Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the No 5 seed, next.
The 19-year-old Dane defeated Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic (7-5, 7-6 (3)), Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 8 seed (7-6 (6), 6-4) and Russian Varvara Gracheva (4-6, 6-4, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Bronzetti, ranked No 57, beat Jodie Burrage (6-4, 6-4), Croat qualifier Jana Fett (6-4, 6-2) and Frenchwoman Clara Burel (3-6, 6-4, 6-0).
