Italian qualifier Nuria Brancaccio reached the last 16 of the Open delle Puglie by edging out Swiss Ylena In-Albon 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 on Monday.
Brancaccio, ranked No 433, will face the winner of the match between Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 6 seed, and Italian wildcard Vittoria Paganetti next.
